How to get list of users not present in row

I have a dataset which shows me a start date and an end date along with this i have a user. I also have another dataset with contains a list of staff members. I want to be able to search a day in the calendar and compare it against the list of staff members to show how is avialable on that day and who is unavilable.

I have already linked it up in the relationships:

Hi @PaulDBrown I have attached some sample datasets which is the same to what i am using.

The output i am looking for if when filterting through the calendar via the slicer for the visual "Calendar Visual by MAQ Software" i want to be able to show a list of users who are out on that day and who are in on that day.
