How to get external data which is in website to Power BI Desktop

Hi,

 

i am trying to pull the report from external web page to Power Bi desktop but i observed that in that web page it has more rows alomost 292,720,924 , my question is  there is any way to extract the huge data from web page to power bi desktop?

 

please guide me if you have any alternative solution, since i am new to PBI.

Hi, @naveen_85 

 

Scraping data from multiple web pages, we can use PowerBI to achieve it. Here is a feature "Add Tables Using Examples" can help us. We can use this feature to scrape the information  we need on the web page.

Then we can create a scrape data function through PowerQuery and keep calling the function to get data from multiple pages.
For simple Scraping data work you can use PowerBI to do this, but for professional works you may need to learn more about professional computer knowledge to help you, which cannot be discussed here.

thanks for your input, but i need to take the data from the external web page from that how to do pagination?

 

since it is showing many suppliers ( below screen for reference ).
