Right now I'm using a matrix and the dates are coming out like this.
If I use the "Go to next level in heirarchy" They display like so:
But now I've lost the month. And in fact, the "5" is Aug5, and the "30" is July 30. So they aren't in the actual chronological order, they are in a numerical order.
I'd really like it to look more like
| Item | July 30 | Aug 5 |
| A | 15 | 35 |
What's the best way to get that?

You can expand all current leaves in the visual at the same time, like this:
Or you can create a new column:
Month_Day = FORMAT('Table'[Date], "mmm dd")

What do you mean exactly? Like what is the date format? It's using date format like "8/1/2021"
