How to get around with partial multibyte character issue?

I've been working with oracle db and lately facing an issue regarding partial multibyte character. 

 

Ran the same query in SQL developer i am able to get the data, there is no issue there. while connecting from Power BI getting Partial multibyte character issue. 

 

Please help here.

Based on your description, could you consider sharing some scrrenshots when you connect to power bi from oracle db about partial multibyte characters and your expected output for further discussion?

 

Sample data and expected output would help tremendously.

Are you talking about the difference between UTF-8 and UCS-2 ?  Power BI should be able to handle all common encodings if you specify them correctly in your source dialog.
