Hi,
Is there a similar formating option in Power BI (like Excel) that allows users to format the number with alpha-numeric values and still have the system recognize it as a number? I tried using FORMAT() however, it converts into into a text. I need the measure to be used on a line chart and text just won't work. And my manager don't wants to see "B" for billions and not the default "bn".
Thank you!
Kevin
Solved! Go to Solution.
To do that, you can select your measure and enter a custom format string in the ribbon.
You also need to set the Display Units to None.

Hi Team,
When i use the above format from geting bn to B my values are getting changed.
for ex: My card displays currently as
1bn after applying the above format getting as 1,003,000 B. it should come as 1B.
Please suggest
Can you please send screenshots of same images of what user ppm1 has provided?
