Hi,
I'm newbi to PowerBi and Community. and trying to get the month name abbreviate from the date.
It gives me the red line Month = Format([my_date_time_ct], "mmm")
and error: Failed to resolve name 'my_date_time_utc'. It is not a valid table, variable, or function name.
Can't figure it out why. Any help will be appricaiated. Thanks.

Hi @jambopriti ,
I think you can change your DAX code. In a measure, you need to use MAX or SUM function.
Measure = FORMAT(MAX('Table'[my_date_time_ct]),"mmm")
Then you will get what you want.

you can also try your DAX to create a column. That should work.
