I am trying to get rid of unwanted fields from the report which affetcs the performance of report hugely.
Checking it manually is unfortunately not an option due to high amount of reports and visuals.
Also is it possible to check it without installing 3rd party tool/software ?
Thanks

Hi @agarwala,
You can use Power BI Cleaner and Measure Killer to identify and remove unused fields and measures to improve report performance:
Power BI Cleaner analyzes the PBIX file metadata to find unused columns and tables.
Measure Killer helps identify and remove unused measures that aren't linked to visuals or calculations.
I found this blog that talks about these tools in detail - https://medium.com/@egebent09/removing-unused-measures-and-columns-in-power-bi-5e15c3db38c1
Please note: I haven't tried these tools personally, so you may need to experiment a bit and explore further before applying them to important data models.
Also, on a side note - to analyze and improve the performance of your report, try using Performance Analyzer in Power BI Desktop to monitor slow visuals and identify fields that affect performance.
