How to filter values from one table to another table with having inactive relationship

Hi, I have 2 tables in power bi candidate and technology, Candidate table contains these columns Client, skills,Bu, recruiter, also technology table contains these columns as well.

In my visual tab I have 4 card views coming from technology table Active requirement, closed,Active sourcing,In progress

In 2 line I have 4 slicers coming from candidate table Client, skills,Bu,Recruiter.

I have created a relationship between Client from candidate table and client from technology table it's a m to m relationship and it's in active status, remaining 3 like skills to skills , Bu to Bu , and Recruiter to Recruiter also created but they are in inactive.

Now my requirement is if I change values in client slicer the cards views are working fine because they have active relationship, but if I change values in skills or Bu or Recruiter the values in the cards view are changing, how to write a dax for this please help.

Hi @Bhargav150 ,

Based on the information you provided, you want the visual to change with changes regardless of whether the relationship is active or inactive, since I am not aware of your data and table style. I can only provide you with functions that may help, the TREATAS function filters values from one table to another table that has an inactive relationship in Power BI.

I recommend you read this article to understand and utilize this function:
