How to encrypt my data -Datasource is sharepoint foldr

Hi Team,

 

I have requirement where i want to encrypt my data .

 

I have uplaoded the table which is coming from excel which is stored in sharepoint folder.

 

So requirement is to encrpyt this once its been published . Is there any way available to do this?

Hi @Anonymous - In Power BI it does not currently offer encryption of published data directly within the Power BI Service. 

you can use tools like Azure Key Vault, or encrypt data in the database (e.g., SQL Server Always Encrypted).Power BI can consume data that's already encrypted and display the unencrypted version based on access policies.

If encryption is critical after publishing, consider using third-party tools or services that integrate with Power BI, such as Tabular Editor
