How to drill-down to list report from visualization/map?

Hello all

 

I need some help regarding drill-downs. I currently have a visualization/map highlighting a few differnet states. This map contains differnet colors for # of customer accounts. What I am hoping to do, is be able to click on a particular location/state and have Power BI, drill down to a list report showing the account details (customer name, location, account number, address, etc etc) for that state.

 

Is this possible? I know I can create a seperate list report showing the columns/data I need, but is there a way to have the map linked up to the detail report, and once a user clicks on a specific state, it drills-down to the list report?

    Hi Audi_B,

    I'm afraid there's no such a drill-down on map, though it sounds a nice idea. However using a seperate list report is also not a bad idea for me, why not?

    You can submit this idea on ideas-powerbi, people who have the same requirement can vote for it. The dev team would take this idea into account if there're quite quantity votes.

      Thanks for the reply Eric, I appreciate it. It's unfortunate this functionality isn't available yet, but I will submit an idea to the dev team as this could be very helpful for drilling into a detail report based on state or region.
