Hi everybody,
i have an issue related to the drill down feature.
I would create a drill down starting from column A where is possibile to visualize three other columns (B,C,D) which are not related to the first one.
I have tried to create a hyerarchy by trying to set the columns B,C,D on the same level but I don't understand if it is actually possibile.
as from the picture, only the tallest column(A) should be visible, while the other 3(B,C,D) should be hidden by the drill down.
Thanks!!!
Hi @Woodyy
If you're going to use Drill up/down, then your data must have a hierarchy, like this sample:
The Clustered column chart:
When you drill down the A column, this does hide the other columns, but instead of showing A, it shows all the subdivisions below A:
If you want to hide other columns, maybe you can use the Slicer:

Thank you so much for the reply!
unfortunately this is not the case since the database itself is organized in a different way.
in fact instead of having a column for the ID, a column for ID2 and a column for values I have a column for A, and 3 other columns for AAA, BBB and CCC, which are actually subsets of A. These columns are made up by the values that each item(AAA,BBB,CCC) shows for each month. Then, I also have date columns where year and months are expressed.
however AAA BBB and CCC are subsets of A and I would like to show it in a drill down or something similar. What can I do?
thank you!!!
