It seems like there was an update recently, but I can't seem to deselect a selected visual when working on Power BI Desktop.
Before I could click below the canvas area, but now there's always one object selected.
I've searched for solutions but haven't found any.

Thanks for the link! Turns out the one I needed was to hit ESC on the keyboard and it deselects visuals 😄
You need to reserve a piece of the canvas that is not covered by visuals. Click there.
Is there no other way? No key combo or trick? We often have visuals or colored backgrounds covering the entire canvas so clicking on the canvas isn't really an option (unless we completely redesign our branding :S )
Try moving the focus away from the visual
