Hello,
Please can you tell me how to delete this sharepoint data source setting (the delete option is greyed out)? (I need to create a live connection and my understanding is that I can't do that until all the existing data sources have been deleted)
Thank you,
PW

Hello @PowerWhy
To delete the SharePoint data source in Power BI when the Delete option is greyed out, first ensure it’s not actively used in any queries or visuals.
Go to "Data Source Settings", select the source, and click "Clear Permissions."
Next, open Power Query Editor, verify no queries reference the source, and remove any dependencies.
Clear the cache via "File > Options and Settings > Options > Data Load > Clear Cache."
Restart Power BI, return to "Data Source Settings," and the Delete option should now be enabled.
If the issue persists, ensure the dataset isn’t used in a published report on the Power BI Service.
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
Ritesh Kumar,

Thank you @rit_ty7 I had deleted all tables but not all queries from query editor. Once all queries were deleted the sharepoint data connection disappeared.
