How to delete bulk users from the workspace RLS set up in Power Bi Service?

Hi All,

Is there any way we can do bulk deletion of users from the report dataset's RLS set up. I just can see deleting the individual users option. Also , Is there anyway I can export the users list into an excel from the RLS settings?

There is no built-in way to do bulk deletion of users from the report dataset’s RLS set up. You can only delete users one by one from the Manage roles page in the Power BI service. However, you can use PowerShell scripts to automate the process of adding or removing users from RLS roles.

To answer your second question, there is also no built-in way to export the users list into an excel from the RLS settings. However, you can use the same PowerShell scripts to get the list of users for each role and save it as a CSV file, which you can then open in Excel.
