Hi, I'm looking to prevent a user from viewing information / visuals on screen when it has been filtered below a threshold level, this is to safeguard the customer demographics. Ideally when the user filters to say below 5 customers, then a message box will appear that will cover the whole page with some text instructing user to widen the criteria to continue, this may require the pop up window to have a X button so once clicked on the message box will disappear but only when the counter is back to above 5.
Web search shows how to do this using a button to toggle the box on and off but I'm looking to have the pop up appear when the user satisfies a logic criteria.
Can one help?

Hi @jos818,
We appreciate your inquiry on the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Based on my understanding, Power BI does not currently support true pop-up windows or modal dialogs as found in traditional applications. However, as a workaround, you may simulate the desired behavior using native features such as measures, conditional visuals, the Selection Pane, and layered design techniques. These methods can help safeguard customer privacy when filtered data falls below a certain threshold, such as fewer than five customers.
If you find our response helpful, kindly mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. This will assist other community members facing similar queries.
Thank you.
