How to create a new percentage measure

How do you divide a calculated field by a measure in Power BI?

i.e. % Past Due = (Past Due Amount / Open Amount) * 100

Hi @TDERUSSO,

As @Sean posted, you will need a clustering function in your measure. Yon can use SUM, MAX, MIN,Average and so on. If the Past Due Amount value is unique, the results of SUM, MAX, MIN,Average are equal. Please add the function, you will get what you want.

Past Due % = ('AR Dashboard'[Past Due Amount] / SUM('AR Dashboard'[Open Amount])) * 100

Is this what you are trying to do?

% Past Due Measure =
DIVIDE ( SUM ( Table[Past Due Amount Column] ), [Open Amount Measure], 0 )

You can then format this as %

Yes, this is what I'm trying to do, but the past due amount is a calculated field and the open amount is a measure.  When I try to put the formula in this way, the argument won't allow me to select past due amount.  It wants me to select something from the table.

You can't select a COLUMN because you are creating a MEASURE

so any COLUMN you want to reference needs to be aggregated somehow - did you wrap it in SUM ( TableName[Column Name] )
