Hi,
In the Query Editor i have the Column Filtered from 2018-44, 2018-45, 2018-46 and no records are selected from 2018-43 and so on, backwards.
As you can see in the screenshot below, I have 2018-47 record from the current refresh and this record is not getting selected. How do I make this dynamic so that with every refresh the records gets selected and the data reflects in the visual?
Appreciate your help. Thanks!
Hi @BBIUser,
How do I make this dynamic so that with every refresh the records gets selected and the data reflects in the visual?
Such a requirement that setting a default selection for a slicer every refresh without selecting items manually is not supported right now.
Here is a similar idea, and PG said this feature is under review.
Default Selected Slicer or Tile-By Value Configuration

Good to know @v-yulgu-msft. For now, I have changed the actual sql query to apply this filter dynamically.
I will Vote. But I think my requirement is slightly different from the similar idea you provided in this post.
In my case it is not the default value but the values which gets added in the data refresh everyday which is not getting added to the visual because of the column filter applied in the Edit Queries.
Thank you!
