How to create a dynamic table value based on selection

Hello everyone,

I have to create report for several schools. Each report has several pages. I now want to create a front page where the schools can select their school and then the report should show the data for that particular school. 

I have created a table (Selected School Table) with a single value (school id) and all the measures in the report are based on that. How can I get this value updated from the front page?

Hi  @Nsh ,

I'm not sure if this can meet your needs. You can create a parameter to achieve your needs, as the following shows:

you just need to instert school id, then it will show related data.

Detailed steps:

1.create new parameter

2.configure parameter

3. create relationship between parameter and tables

4. apply this parameter and you can filter school through insert school id.

Hey @Nsh ,

use a bookmark for each school that is setting the slicer for the school.

This slicer can then be synced across all pages with the sync slicer feature:

You can then even hide the slicer and when you click the bookmark the slicer will be used and synced across all pages.

Thanks. But I need to change the value in the table. Since a lot of measures use the table for calculations.
