How to create a Time Range ?

Hello All

I would like to take the date in Time range to show the Same Period Last Month (SPLM) activity to check the Brand Performance.

Right now i have Created_date means which is selected in Current Period.

I need to have table like below. When i select the Current Period date then the SPLM should change automatically with same period but last month.

Thank you !

Hi @Anonymous ,

Make sure you have a date calendar and that the calendar is marked as a date in the model view. Because using a date calendar table gives you the best time intelligence features.

Maybe you can try below formula:

Prev_Month=
CALCULATE ( [measure], DATEADD ( 'Date'[Date], -1, MONTH ) )
or
Prev_Month =
CALCULATE ( [measure], DATESMTD ( DATEADD ( 'Date'[Date], -1, MONTH ) ) )

More details:

Creating a simple date table in DAX - SQLBI

Creating a Date Table in Power BI - ArcherPoint

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
