How to create a new DAX to solve an equation? Can anyone let me know the solution?

Such as, I want to find out the answer from this equation.

[2+4x]/4 = 5 

How can I create DAX for the query?

Hi @saranp780，

We could create  a calculated column with a formula, but that does not make any sense.

Column = (5*4-2)/4

So, dax may not help solve the equation on power bi.
