How to color code a column in a table?

Hi there,

I have a table in my dashboard and within the table, there is a status column. The status displayed are: in progress, compleete and unassigned. Is there a way to color code these status so in the status column, the status will look like below with different colors(now the text color are all in black)?

In progress

Complete

Unassigned

Thank you very much in advance!

Best,

Emily

Take a look at this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-conditional-table-formatting

and you'll want to use the Font Colour Option from the format visual > Cell Elements section.

Hi, Yes it's possible using Conditional Formating and a measure to do it.
Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYhVSltxSuY

The same method applies to table visualisation

use this column to do conditional formatting, you can set in there use a field value rule witt a measure

so on your visuals setting
