How to change display order of secondary y-axis line on a line chart?

Hello,

I have a line chart with multiple (two) y-axis lines, and one secondary y-axis line. In the example below the secondary y-axis line (Sum of Petal_width, the orange line) is in front of all the other y-axis lines. I want to be able to bring the secondary y-axis line behind all the other y-axis lines (the Sum of Sepal_length and Sum of Sepal_width, the light and dark blue lines). But I want to also keep the y-axis constant line as is unchanged (the 60 cm dashed line).

How can I do this?

Thank you

Hi Alpha-san,

For changing your display order try these steps:

1. Ensure that you add the fields to the values well in the order you want them to appear.

2. If the secondary y-axis line is not displaying as expected, try rearranging the fields in the values.

(or)

3. Instead of using a single line chart with a secondary y-axis, consider using a combination chart where you have one line chart for the primary axis and another for the secondary axis.

4. To do this, create a line chart with the primary field, and then duplicate it. For the duplicated chart, change the field and set it to use the secondary axis.

(or)

5. Check the data types of the fields. Sometimes, changing the data type of a field can impact the display order.

6. Ensure that you are using the latest version of Power BI.

Please let me know if this helps? Do let me know if I am wrong as well!!
If it works, please accept this as a solution. As this helps other members too.

Thanks,
Manoj.

Hi, thanks for the response. This didn't work unfortunately, and I wanted to use a single line chart still (instead of a combination chart). Thanks.
