Dear Power BI Community,
Thank you for taking the time for my problem.
I want to change the name of a field (Resource) in a gantt visual and was wondering if this is possible?
Because I want to change it from "Resource" to "Next Milestone Date", so that it can be also show up in the hover-over box:
Thank you for your time and I hope for your solution.
Have a great weekend

Hi @Nika777
You mean when you hover over "Ressource" on the right side or what do you mean?
I might have on Idea how you can solve your problem! You could build a tool tip page where you use a matrix visual. Please ignore the measure values in my example.
Put in one measure for each tool tip item
Now use the option "measures as rows!
In this table you can rename the measure names
now you make the page as a tool tip. In my case I chose the year column
and use the tool tip in your initial visual
Best regards
Michael

Hi Nika777,
did you manage to find a solution to replace the resource title in your gantt chart?
Hi Michael,
thanks a lot for your time and help 🙂
I managed it with the tool tip workaround.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi @Nika777
this is a page setting
aAnd for seeing the tool tip area dont click on the visual but on the page canvas.
It might be needed to also make the page smaller in the end to make sure the tool tip is not to big.
Best regards
Michael

Hi Michael,
thank you for your quick reply.
What a pity. hmmm, but is there maybe a chance to choose what can be shown in the hover-over text box? Maybe I can find some workaround then.
Thank you

Hi Michael,
thank you, I could follow your steps, but just the one before the last one with the tool tip as I do not have this tool tip box (see in my red box, no tool tip section is there):
Do I need to "activate" this somewhere?
Many thanks
