How to calculate the running total for a specific period ?

I want to calculate the running total of a quantity from current month to next 12 months (we have the forcasted data present).
I created this dax but it is giving me blank.

I created this using quick measure feature and added DATESINPERIOD in it. Without DATESINPERIOD it is working fine.

@Anonymous , try a measure like

example

Cumm Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),
filter(allselected(calendar),calendar[date] <=max(calendar[Date])
&& calendar[Date] > eomonth(Today(),-1) && calendar[Date] <= eomonth(Today(),12)
))
