How to calculate google analytics drop-offs in Power bi

Hi, community,

I dont know what to do.. But, this is driving me crazy..

I want to calculate drops- off into Power Bi just like the google analytics shows. But, i can not understand which measures and dimension is to be taken for achieving this.I am using google analytics connector into power bi.

I got some information from this websites :

http://onlineoptimizers.eu/the-important-difference-between-exit-rate-and-bounce-rate/

that drop-offs can be calculated by unique visitors. and unique visitors means user.but, total number of user of GA dashboard and powe bi total numbr of user is not getting matched. So, drop-offs calculation (by above websites formula) is not getting matched too.

Google analytics is showing my home page's drop-offs is 50.4% on the starting page section and Power bi has calculated the drop-offs is 68%.I have taken the landing page from google analytics connector.

Any other way to calculate this drop- off?.if possible, then which measures and dimensions will be needed from the google analytics connector atleast for the starting page and 1st interaction section on the behavior flow under behavior tab google analytics.

This is my 1st google analytics project on power bi and i am helpless. Any google analytics expert on power bi platform, please help me to solve this problem.

Any suggesation is really appreciable.

Thanks,

snandy2011

Hi @snandy2011,

When you get data from google analytics, you can get basisc data table. If you want to calculate the home page's drop-offs in Power BI as the same as google analytics, you should know how to get the result in google analytics, the use the same logical algorithm in Power BI based on the data. You'd better share the data table and describe the result you want, we can help you.
