How calculate COUNTA like in Excel of a Visual Table when my fields are mixed between Tables and Measures?
Below I have a Matrix Visual which is built with a Sin Table, a Year Table and a Measure which is the variance between two other tables. I apply a filter so that the table does not show me any zero amounts. How to obatin a COUNTA of my SIM Column? My count should result in 9.

Instead of using a measure, I simply added another SIN Column as a Distinct Count and it gave me my SIN Total.

Hi @Anonymous
Use
CALCULATE(COUNT('table'[SIN Table'),'table'[measure variance amount] <> 0)

Hello This is not working
Variance SIN Count = CALCULATE(COUNT('Table SIN Revised with Manual Adj'[SIN]),'Measures YE Reconciliation'[Variance Prod File - Rev CSLS] <> 0)
I get this error messsage: A function 'CALCULATE' has been used in a True/False expression that is used as a table filter expression. This is not allowed.
