How to build query to discover occurrences per month

I am trying to work out (as a complete newby to Power BI), how to find out how many times accidents have occoured per month. I  have the monthly breakdown but when i try and filter for a graph it doenst show, it only shows from the team who inputted the data. Is there a way i can ask PowerBi to show me RTC occourances per month into a graph (monthly) please? - Answers in dummy steps! 🙂
