Hello,
When sharing a PowerBI report, the link setting says that "People with this link can view this report and use the data associated with it, regardless of its sensitivity label" - I find this concerning. I only want folks to see the report and not be able to view or use the underlying data. How to block the view or use of underlying data?
Also, if you delete a link that shares a report, will it delete access to that report? One document I found online says
"Deleting a link removes it from the system. Users who use the link to access a report may lose access to that report." Does it or does it not remove permission....why are they using the word "MAY"?
Thanks!

Hi @FVM2 ,
1) You can restrict the access of the user to the underlying dataset by going into the manage permissions option of the respective dataset.
You can refer to this article - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-datasets-manage-access-permissions
2) If you delete a particular report from the workspace and if you have the users being provided the access from the workspace access, it won't affect the access. But if you have provided the access with the "Share" option of the report the accesses of the users would be lost.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
