How to avoid many to many relationship ?

Hi All

i have AR and SALES table need to link. Now i am link thru CUST_ID , It work fine , but it create many to many relationship.

I get multiple relationship.

Thank you very much , it is very tricky , the CUST_ID why i must using bridge CUST_ID ?

@Anonymous , 

If you duplicate values on the relating columns you will get many to many relationship. If you want to make it to one to many then create dimension table or a bridge table with unique values and use to relate with that table.

i need to create a join key by CUST_ID & COMPANY , and join these 2 table . You have any example

HI 

 

It could be possible that both the tables are having duplicate "Customer ID's. You can create intermediate table of unique "Customer ID's and establish a relationship with both the tables.
