Hi,
Is there a way to set a number format to align positive and negative numbers on the decimal when using parenthesis for negative numbers (similar to Excel custom number formatting, _(* #,##0.0_);_(* (#,##0.0);_(* "-"?_);_(@_))? I tried using the same custom formatting in Power BI but did not have the same/expected result.
Power BI
Trying to get this (similar to Excel)
Hi,
In Power BI the underscore "_" does not work to leave a blank space after the number. However, you can format "#,##0.0 ;(#,##0.0); #,##0.0" and put it so as not to wrap the text.
Note that for positives and zeros there are spaces after the value.
If you use a monospaced font it's perfect.
I hope I was helpful.

Hi @sd_kevin ,
I suspect this cannot be amended. I have searched and have not found any mention of this, and also have the same problem in Tablix, where the numeric format you have chosen will never align if you have negative values because you are I have also tried in Power BI and have not found any changes.
Best Regards
