I have created a YOY Value Growth measure as seen in the table visual below, but would like to create another measure that averages YOY Value Growth - currently have no idea as to how to do this, as can be seen by the blank results in the average YOY column...
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can try a measure like this to get the avg YOY. The first one should work in a table visual with just your locality column. The second should work in your existing visual. Update with your actual table name(s).
Avg YOY =
AVERAGEX (
SUMMARIZE ( Table, Table[Locality], Table[Year] ),
[YOY Value Growth]
)
Avg YOY AllSel =
CALCULATE (
AVERAGEX (
SUMMARIZE ( Table, Table[Locality], Table[Year] ),
[YOY Value Growth]
),
ALLSELECTED ( Table[Year] )
)
