_YTD EXP = CALCULATE(CALCULATE(GL[AMOUNT],DATESYTD('Date'[Date],"12/31")), GL[1_EXP] = "EXP")

@admin11 , for that you can need MTD or LMTD

MTD Sales = CALCULATE(GL[AMOUNT],DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))
last MTD Sales = CALCULATE(GL[AMOUNT],DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,MONTH)))
last month Sales = CALCULATE(GL[AMOUNT],previousmonth('Date'[Date]))
