How to add a new measure

Hi All,

I am getting data from SQL Server, I am using query, select * from VIEW. But when I want to create a measure, the fields wont show , please see the screen shot. I started as Query. but it wont suggest the fields. Please advice.

Hi @amybirc77 ,

 

Measures are use for aggregations, so for the intelissense to get the fields you need to use calculation to aggregate, so if you are doing the SUM for example when you start to write SUM( then the intelissence kicks in and shows the fields.
