I have a table with over 6,000 individual items in it and what I'd like to do is create a hyperlink for each item so that when a user selects one it takes them to a specific report for that item.
Is there a way to add one overarching URL that changes dynamically depending on which item is selected?

So I was finally able to solve the issue by creating an additional column within the data I was working from and creating a formula for that column that was the URL I was looking to send users to with the dynamic variable the item number from another column within the table.

Hello,
I wrote an answer, but I've got an error.
I recommend using Measures as much as possible. Avoid calculated columns. Basically follow this Youtube video for help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wz2aD0XvkUk
I'd write the measure in this way, tho:
Hi @StooHoo ,
Refering to the online document about URL filter. We can create a measure like that to get the dynamic url.
url = sele = max (your table[value])
return
"app.powerbi.com.xxxxxx" & ?filter=Store/Territory eq sele
If it doesn't meet your requirement, kindly share your sample data and excepted result to me if you don't have any Confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.
