Hi,
I have the below graph with different data values. i'm happy with each column (firm, june ff, december ff, etc) but i'd like to add another column for the darker line, rather than showing it on each column. is there a way i can do this?
I thought just adding the data for that column into the table but i don't think it would work...

Hi, @jonbox ;
You could create another table or change the original table in power query. here I tested another table method.
1.create another table.
Table 2 =
var _a=SUMMARIZE('Table',[Type],[ActualSpending])
var _b=SUMMARIZE('Table',"Type","Actuals","ActualSpending",MAX('Table'[Actuals]))
return UNION(_a,_b)
2.create a flag meaure.
flag = IF(MAX('Table 2'[Type])="Actuals","#12239E","#118DFF")
3.set color conditional format.
The final output is shown below:

What "darker line"?

the darker column of the two. you have the light blue and the dark blue. i'm wanting get get the dark blue to be a bar on its own rather than replicating next to the lighter blue.
Can you show a depiction of the expected outcome and provide some sample data or PBIX file?

Hi,
So currently the bar graph is using two values "firm spending" and "actual spend" which are columns in two different tables.
Rather than actual spend showing alongside firm spending as shown in my first post, i'd like it to show as another column in the chart on its own, depicted below..
Thanks. That helps. See if this blog post helps:
