I'm pretty new to Power BI (ONly having used it for ten days at this point), and I was wondering if there was a way to add data to my database. I get an email daily with some data, which a flow converts into a csv file. What I wanted to do was take the data from the file, and perhaps insert it into a list, and get power BI to read from the list. I'd like to be able to set it all up automatically if possible...

Hi @Artefactual
You can use a file from the mail as a data source.
Please refer to the linked guide :

Or to use power automate , the guide :

Hello @Artefactual,
Thanks for your message.
One way you can accomplish this by using Power Automate to move your CSV data into a SharePoint list or SQL database.
This would mean creating a flow that triggers when an email is received, extracts the CSV, and appends the data to your chosen data source.
Then, in Power BI you can connect to the SharePoint list / SQL database and set the refresh automatically.
Hope this helps - Alternatively, lets connect and I can guide you through the process - Yes, its FREE 🙂 (https://topmate.io/sahirmaharaj/649292)
Hi @Artefactual
Are you working on Power BI Desktop or Power BI Service ?
If you want to update your data timely on the service you have to give schedule refresh to that particular report in the Workspace. After assign schedule refresh your data will update daily at the schedule time but for that you will atlest need Pro licensing for Power BI Service.

Heya @Anonymous, I'm using Power BI Desktop, I already know how to refresh data, but what I want to know is how to update an existing database to add new data to the existing data each day.
