How to Handle Tooltip Visibility in Map Visuals with Overlaying Card Visual in Power BI?

Hi all,

I am working on a Power BI report where I use multiple visuals, such as tables, maps, etc., to display data. I also use a card visual to show "No data available" when there are no values in the dataset.

The card is always in the foreground, and I adjust its transparency based on whether data is present:

  • When data is available, I set the card's transparency to 0%.
  • When no data is available, I set the card's background color to white.

However, when there is data and the card’s transparency is set to 0%, it blocks the tooltips for map visuals (and similar visuals) behind it, preventing the tooltips from appearing.

What approaches can be used to resolve this issue while still maintaining the functionality of displaying "No data available" when needed?
