How to Do Sum/ Subtraction between 2 Visuals in PowerBI
Hi all,
I was wanting to know if there's a way to do a calculation between 2 visuals like the ones below:
I want to be able to find the difference between the 2 months
IE: what is the difference between May 2024 & June 2024 Merchang Violation Number like with a formula in Excel.

You should use measures to achieve this. Create a measure for each visual using SUM, AVERAGE, etc. Then create a third measuere which is measure1 - measure 2.

Unfortunately the information in those columns is in Text format & so I can't do a measure.
I just did a count of all items in the list to come up with the Number in each box (but the data itself is text format [ Company names/ url's...] )

You can use the COUNT function inside of a measure to get the number of string values in a column:
