How to Change the Data Source Type in Power BI

Hi,

I have similar SharePoint sites (with list) through out a site collection. 

I use power BI to create dashboards. Since all the site have lists with same structure i was wondering if there is a way, we can use existing power bi files to make some changes so that it works for the newly created sites as well.

I Have tried the below, but all the custom changes such as changing the datatype etc are gone, once I applied the below technique
