I plan to have two tables. One will drill through to the other. But for one of them the date is displaying in the following format:
I want it to display in the dd/mm/yyyy format but I do not want to delete the date hierarchy as I would need it to create the parent drill through table:
I am attaching the pbix file incase anyone would like to play around with it.

@HamidBee , when dragged that date in the visual, on right-click there is an option show it as date or hierarchy (where you have removed qtr , day)
Use date. For format use column tools, when you click on the column you will get that. there is an option for format

For formating the date you can select date and just add dd/mm/yyyy from the top.PFB screenshot for reference
Now right click on date column from visualization pane and select date only.
