I have 25 data sources to work with, and each data source needs a whole heap of manipulation.
I can use the "advanced editor" to just write the code, instead of waiting for screen refreshes etc. But each data source has to be edited indivisually. Is there no way to just see ALL the code in one window. IF taht was possible, I should be able to do in 1 hour what currently takes me a whole day to do.
It is possible! While in Desktop, go to File, then About, then you'll see an option to "Copy session diagnostics to clipboard". Paste that information into a text file, and you'll have access to all of your queries in one spot. It's not the 'perfect' solution, but with Find and Replace, you can update all your code at once, and then paste it back into the individual queries.
Hi @Netrelemo ,
you can copy all queries into a text editor.

...and then I can separate the all out afterwards again.. 🤕🤕🤕🤕
Just when I thought I understood the extent of the admin overhead, it goes to a whole new level
Hi @Netrelemo ,
maybe the tabular editor can help ...

Hi @Netrelemo ,
It's impossible to achieve your idea in current version( 2.81.5831.821 64-bit (May 2020) ).
Unless you merge the tables of all data sources into one table.
Best regards,
Lionel Chen
