Hi @WheelchairWilly

Your problem is that you want to count the number of non-null values in that column at the end of each column, right?

First of all, you can replace the letters of each column with 1 in Power Query

Then change their type to whole number

Then click close&apply
This is the result you want

It looks like there is no measure in Power BI to show G P Y R OG as coloured data but the totals in numbers beow. I was hoping to have different colours for each of the letters say as a in a calander.

Sorry for all the hassel.

Final chance Willy !

We want to help you but you have asked a vague question.

Please provide example data as text not a picture so we can import it.

Also provide example output.

I will be happy to help when you clarify the source data and the output.

We want to help you but your description is too vaugue. Please write it again clearly.

Provide example input data as table text (not a screen print) so we can import the data to build a solution for you.

Also provide the example desired output, with a clear step-by-step description of any calculations and the process flow.
Remember not to share private data ... we don't want you to get into trouble. 😧
Take time and care to use the same table and field names in the input, output and description so we can understand your problem and help you.
Try keep it simple and ask one question per ticket.
You will get a quick response if you put time, care and effort into writing clear problem descriptions.
Remember you are gerrting free expert help, so please put lots of proper effort to asking questions and providing example.

Vaugue descriptions can waste your time and ourtime.

Look foward to helping you when the above information is forthcoming

I want to know how to write a dax measure that will add up all the "G","P" etc and place the totals at the bottom of each column. Basically how to have Power BI add up text and convert to numbers.
