How do I add a data entry box into Power BI to show and be used on the final published report?

I'm trying to duplicate the below search capability inside Power BI Reporting, so Support users can search for an Asset Tag and pull up the required matching data. I can do reports of all assets, but not just pull any dynamically requested asset.

When you use slicer visuals you can enable the search box.  Same with the visual/page/report filters.

There are many options. You can use a slicer. There is a search box that is off by default. You can turn it one from the ellipsis (from memory), or maybe the small Dropdown arrow menu. There is also a text slicer. I wrote an article here https://exceleratorbi.com.au/text-filtering-power-bi/
