How create a scroll bar X - axis
Hi, i have a bar chart with weekly information. I was able to handle it, but nowadays it contains so much info and I cant see the entire date. I'm not using hierarchies.
Can I make this graph scrolleable in the X - axis? I would like to mantain this format ('DD/MM/YYYY') but, if it´s not possible, is there other way to solve my problem?
Thank you so much!

If your date field is actually a date type, and the axis is set to continuous, it should automatically scale instead of doing what is in your screenshot. But you can also increase the space available on the axis labels if that helps (it's called 'max area height' in axis settings).

Hi Christine, thank you for your answer!
No, the x axis is set to categorical. In my calendar date, the field "Inicio de la semana" (Start of week) has the next format : "DD/MM/YYYY"
If i change the x axis to continuous, the x axis looks like this
and I´m not looking for that, i want DD/MM/YYYY.
If i choose type "Categorical" I can´t set te max area height lower than 15 and I can´t see any scrollbar
Thank you!

Yes you would want to set the max area higher if you want to be able to read the whole date. The scrollbar will only be created if the number of bars you have doesn't fit in the given area with the minimum bar width they're using. I would recommend trying to avoid a scrollbar and just having the max era be higher so that the text is able to be read - a scrollbar is a negative usabilility thing typically because you can't see the entire trend area at once.

Hi Anonymous ,
After testing, it is not possible to preserve the formatting of the axis with the axis set to continuous, please vote in favor of this idea and bring this need to the attention of the product team.Best Regards,
