How can we add a 'tooltip' and/or a sub - form to the 'rows' within the Matrix Visual?

In my matrix visual, i've used rows to display stories/ tasks and when i hover over each story i would like to display summary or  additional information pertaining to that story as a sub - form (or) tooltip. Appreciate any suggestions/ inputs here.

Thank you,

Schin

Hi @schinthapally ,

You can create custom tooltips for Matrix, I have created a simple sample that you can follow:

1.Create a Tooltip Page

Open a New Page>Navigate to the Format pane, then on the Page Information section, turn the Tooltip slider on. This will allow power BI to register this as a tooltip page. Thereafter, you can select the Page size and change it to Tooltip.

2.Add the desired fields to the tooltip page.

3.Apply the tooltip to your visual.

Back to the Matrix page>go to the Format pane, and turn the Tooltip on from the Tooltip section. Also make sure that you select the Report page that you have just created.

Then you can get the tooltips in your matrix.

Note: Remember to change your Tooltip Page size to the Actual size.

Hope it helps,
