Hello everyone,
I am using a Matrix Visual, but i wanna put my values in front of my rows? Can i do this with MAtrix visual or do i need to use another visual? Any recommendation?
For exaple this is my matrix, the value of my rows is place and the year als my values.
But i want to visualize it like this
I wanna put the year 2012 and 2013 first then the place then 2014. What is the best way to do this?

Hi, @Anonymous
According to my test, the only way to achieve the Matrix output like this is to change your data source, you can try to change your data table like this:
Then create another matrix and place it like this:
And this can roughly achieve what you want.
You can download my test pbix file below
If this result is not what you want, you can go to the Power BI Idea to submit a new idea so that people with the same idea can vote for you. I will also vote for you.
Thank you very much!

Hi, @Anonymous
Please correct me if I wrongly understand your question.
I want to suggest using Table Visualization, and create a measure for each year.
In this case, generally, you can change the order of the year columns and Place column.

No, i wanna change the position of the values. If u use a matrix you first need to give Rows and after that values. I am using Matrix as a visual, and i wanna put the value 2012 and 2013 in front of my row value what is place. Just changing the position of my data in a matrix
Hi @Anonymous ,
This depends on the way you data is setup.
Are the years separate columns on your data or a single column and the years are values in rows? Do regarding the Place I assume you want to have the first value correct?
Can you share a mockup of your data setup? Depending on the way you have the model the calculation can go from a disconnected table to the creation of different measures.
