Hello All,
I am working on power bi desktop.
I am using salesforce as a data source for creating report.
However I am using Salesforce rest api to get data from salesforce database.
I am not able to use salesforce rest api in power bi to get data.
Could you please help me to do that?
Please tell me,
How can I use Salesforce rest API in power BI Desktop?
Any update on this? How to use SF Rest API to query objects in Power BI, without using the two built-in SF Connectors?
I have the same question, did you get the answer?
@Anonymous
Go to "Get Data" and search for Salesforce. You will see options for Salesforce objects and Salesforce reports.
Ask your salesforce admin to provide access to required salesforce objects to your ID.
Regards
@Anonymous did you tried using salesforce connector available in power bi desktop to get data?

Yes I have used salesforce object connector.
I am able to fetch data using salesforce object connector.
However, I dont want to load all the data using object connector and then filter it.
I am looking for, filter data first using salesforce api and then load data in power bi.
@Anonymous you can also use SF Report connector to get data from report and filter data in the report. Do you think that will work?
