How can I modify a column header in a table that feeds into an Append Query?

I created an appended query by combining multiple worksheets into one consolidated table. (Similar to what's shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeQPtbFNYIw).

I now need to edit one of the headers in one of the tables that feeds into the Consolidated query. I made this change in all the other tables as well but I'm getting a connection error.

Is there a way to modify or delete a column within the sub tables themselves and have it automatically update the appended table?

Hi babshasquestion,

Based on my test, when you changed the name of one column of one table, the corresponded column name will be changed automatically and no issue happens when you click refresh. So could you share some screenshots of table and clarify more details about which column you have renamed?

Depends but probably not. Would need to see your Advanced Editor code to understand what is going on here.
