I have created one Highchart using R and Power BI in R Studio.
Below is a code for the same.
# Input load. Please do not change #
`dataset` = read.csv('C:/Users/spfarm/REditorWrapper_100adf83-d18c-428a-a5c8-0ddab4aeb0b1/input_df_49436338-78cc-4ac0-b4b2-3a828f25c90d.csv', check.names = FALSE, encoding = "UTF-8", blank.lines.skip = FALSE);
# Original Script. Please update your script content here and once completed copy below section back to the original editing window #
##############################
install.packages("highcharter")
library(highcharter)
hc <- highchart() %>%
hc_xAxis(categories = dataset$Month) %>%
hc_add_series(name = "London", data = dataset$London)
hcThe above code will generate following output in R Studio
Now, when I run the same code in Power BI R script visual, it throws following error.
"No image was created. The R code didn't result in creation of any visuals. Make sure your R script results in a plot to the R default device."
How to resolve this issue?
Is there any update to this thread?
I'm having a similar situation.
Hi @Dhruvin,
Based on my research, only plots that are plotted to the R default display device are displayed correctly on the canvas. Please have a look at below similar threads:
R visuals with the DiagrammeR package don't work in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
R graphics libraries does not work in PBI?
