Hierarquy Date and Sigma of columns

This is the data that I copied from one pbix to another.

Why sometimes the date is not in hierarquy and sometimes it is?

And why sometimes the Sigma signal is missing in columns based on numbers?

@massotebernoull , Hierarchy can be missing because of setting of the file for Date hierarchy or if you joined with key column of a date table

Hi @massotebernoull,

Date fields can be analyzed to a hierarchy based on the 'auto date time' feature for aggregation and time intelligence function usages, you can check the following link to know more about this:

Auto date/time in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

For fields with sigma characters, they mean these fields are aggregated fields and their value can be aggregated with math operations based on category. (for non aggregated fields, they can only summarize with some general aggregation such as count, first/last)

Work with aggregates (sum, average, and so on) in the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
